Focus
Groups
Focus group discussions, each comprising 8-12 people from
a cross section of the organisation, can provide real impetus
and stimulation for the planning stage of the survey.
As well as identifying issues and angles that have not
already been identified, they give more credence to the
whole employee research process by actively involving employees
in the survey design process.
Focus groups are facilitated by a Senior Consultant of Survey
Solutions. Findings are written up and presented back to
the client project team, usually at a debrief meeting. Frequently,
this stage goes hand in hand with the first draft of the
main survey questionnaire. |
