Benchmarking

External benchmarking is usually seen as an essential element in the overall employee research process, enabling management to see how their organisation is performing against a ‘peer group’ of other employers.

The Survey Solutions employee survey database comprises over 40,000 participants in such surveys over the past 3 years, from a wide range of business and public service sectors. For key questions, we present your results set against the relevant database norm, and positioned within percentile ranges that cover the entire survey database.

We can also benchmark the results of key divisions, locations, departments and other employee sub-groups against the overall organisation results, and/or against your previous survey results, and then generate variance reports to assist management in targeting improvement areas. These comparisons form a very useful starting point for action planning workshops.
