Challenge East is an exciting new approach to recruitment into the Territorial Army (TA). You can fast-track your training and become a qualified soldier within just four weeks - earning £975 gross (approx). If you decide to do an extra two weeks trade training you can earn £1,535 (approx) gross.

You'll be outdoors doing shooting, adventurous training, first aid, weaponry, drill and field exercise as well as loads more. This is your chance to earn money, enhance your CV, make new friends and take the first step into a whole new world of opportunity.

Who knows, if you enjoy it, you may in time be visiting Cyprus, New Zealand, Canada or even be deployed on an operational tour to Afghanistan or Iraq.

Challenge East takes place at Grantham, Lincolnshire between July 25 - August 22 2008. There will be an optional two weeks trade training between August 24 - September 7 2008 for those who can make it.

Being in the TA is part-time which means you can combine college, university or even a Monday to Friday job.
